โดย Jay-Z นักร้องเพลงฮิพฮ็อพแห่งยุค และสามีของ Beyonce' เข้าชิงมากที่สุด คือ 8 สาขา รวมทั้ง สาขาอัลบั้มยอดเยี่ยม, เพลงยอดเยี่ยม (Record of the Year), แต่งเพลงยอดเยี่ยม (Song of the Year) และ อัลบั้มเพลงแร็พยอดเยี่ยม

รองลงมาคือ Kendrick Lamar นักร้องฮิพฮ็อพอีกผู้หนึ่งที่เข้าชิง 7 สาขา และ Bruno Mars ที่เข้าชิง 6 สาขา
