ENGLISH AMERICAN STYLE

Anyone who wants to understand 'America-speak' might want to listen to this weekly informal show. To understand a language, one must understand its idioms. Idioms are ways of speaking that are characteristic of a particular culture and cannot be understood by looking up the meaning of each word. 'English American Style' discusses 4-8 idioms per week, describing the history and usage of each one. For show times see affiliate station listing.
