หนังใหม่ Rate R สองเรื่องเข้าครองที่หนึ่งกับสองช่วงสุดสัปดาห์อากาศร้อนในสหรัฐฯ

อันดับหนึ่งคือ Ted เรื่องของหนุ่มใหญ่กับตุ๊กตาหมีพูดได้ และ Magic Mike ชีวิตของหนุ่มนักเต้นเปลื้องผ้าเข้ามาเป็นที่สอง

สุดสัปดาห์ซึ่งพื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่ของสหรัฐฯ มีอากาศร้อนระดับ 40 องศาเซลเซียส มีหนังใหม่เข้ามาติดห้าอันดับรวม 3 เรื่อง

โดยที่อันดับ 5 ซึ่งหย่อนตัวลงมาจากที่สอง คือ Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted เรื่องเกี่ยวกับความพยายามของสมาชิกสวนสัตว์บรองซ์ในนครนิวยอร์คที่จะเดินทางจากยุโรปเพื่อกลับบ้าน

อันดับ 4 เป็นหนังใหม่ภายใต้แบรนด์ของ Tyler Perry โดยคราวนี้มาในชื่อว่า Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection ที่คุณป้า Madea ต้องให้ที่พักพิงแก่ครอบครัวของผู้บริหารจากย่านวอลล์สตรีท ผู้ถูกกันไว้เป็นพยานในคดีฉ้อฉลทางการเงินแบบแชร์ลูกโซ่

อันดับ 3 นั้นคือ Brave การ์ตูนแอนนิเมชั่นสีสวยเนื้อหาดี เรื่องของเจ้าหญิงผมแดงฉมังธนู ผู้ที่นอกจากจะมีฝีมือและความกล้าแล้วยังอยากกำหนดอนาคตของตนเองด้วย

สำหรับที่ 2 เป็นหนังเข้าใหม่ Rate R ชื่อ Magic Mike เรื่องเกี่ยวกับชายนักเต้นเปลื้องผ้ามืออาชีพชื่อไมค์ ผู้รับหนุ่มน้อยหน้ามลมาฝึกเป็นลูกศิษย์ Channing Tatum รับบทแสดงนำเรื่องนี้โดยมี Matthew McConaughey ร่วมแสดง และสาวๆ ซึ่งเป็น 70 % ของผู้ชมในช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ทำให้ Magic Mike กระโดดขึ้นเวทีที่อันดับ 2 พร้อมรายได้อีก 39 ล้านดอลล่าร์

และอันดับ 1 เป็นแนวรักแกมตลก Rate R เช่นกันชื่อ Ted เรื่องเกี่ยวกับตุ๊กตาหมี พูดได้เหมือนคนซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนคู่ใจของหนุ่มเสเพลตั้งแต่เด็กจนโตเป็นหนุ่มใหญ่ และแทบทำให้ชีวิตรักของชายผู้ไม่รู้จักโตต้องอับปาง Ted ได้พลังจาก Mark Wahlberg กับ Mila Kunis ดาราร่วมแสดง รวมทั้งบทภาพยนต์ที่เฉียบคม เหวี่ยงตัวเองขึ้นไปที่อันดับหนึ่งพร้อมกับรายได้อีก 54 ล้านดอลล่าร์
