หนังเข้าใหม่สองเรื่องในช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ของวันพ่อในสหรัฐฯ ทำรายได้ต่ำกว่าที่คาดหมายไว้ โดยเรื่องหนึ่งซึ่งทำได้แค่ที่ 5 เป็นแนวตลกเรท R ชื่อ That’s My Boy ซึ่งนำโดย Adam Sandler และ Andy Samberg ผู้แจ้งเกิดจากรายการโทรทัศน์ Saturday Night Live เรื่องเกี่ยวกับชายหนุ่มผู้มีบุตรตั้งแต่ตัวเองยังเป็นเด็กหนุ่ม และพยายามจะกลับไปมีความสัมพันธ์กับลูกชายที่ห่างเหินไปหลายปี ในวันก่อนการแต่งงานของลูกชาย

อันดับ 4 ขยับลงมาจากที่สาม Snow White and the Huntsman หนังแนวแอ๊คชั่นที่สร้างจากนิยายอมตะเรื่องสโนวไวท์กับคนแคระทั้งเจ็ด แต่คราวนี้นำมาปรับแต่งใหม่โดยเติมตัวละครเอกที่เป็นนายพรานเพิ่มลงไป

อันดับ 3 ก็เพิ่งเข้าใหม่เช่นกันและเป็นหนังแนวเพลงที่ดัดแปลงมาจากละครบรอดเวย์ชื่อ Rock of Ages เรื่องของหนุ่มเมืองกรุงกับสาวบ้านนาซึ่งพบรักกันระหว่างกำลังพยายามไขว่คว้าหาเส้นทางสู่ดวงดาวในฮอลลีวู๊ดในช่วงทศวรรษที่ 1980 อย่างไรก็ตาม Rock of Ages หนังซึ่งรวมเพลงฮิตหลากหลายจากยุค 1980 นี้เปิดตัวอย่างค่อนข้างน่าผิดหวังเช่นกัน เพราะทำได้เพียงแค่ 15 ล้านดอลล่าร์ตรงที่ 3
