เมื่อเริ่มเข้าฉายสัปดาห์ที่แล้วได้ชื่อว่าตายยาก แต่มาสัปดาห์นี้ A Good Day to Die Hard เรื่องของการบุกกรุงมอสโคว์โดย John McClan ตำรวจมือเก่าของ NYPD เพื่อช่วยลูกชาย กลับต้องนอนเกือบตายตัวแข็งอยู่ที่ 5

และที่หลบลี้หนีภัยลงมาเป็นที่ 4 คือ Safe Haven เรื่องของหญิงสาวผู้วิ่งหนีอดีตมาพบความสุขในปัจจุบัน แต่ความลับในอดีตก็ไม่วายติดตามมา

ส่วนที่ต้องพยายามหนีจากมนุษย์เช่นกันคือ Escape From Planet Earth การ์ตูนแอนนิเมชั่นเกี่ยวกับวีรบุรุษแห่งจักรวาลที่หลงมาติดกับดักของมนุษย์ ร้อนถึงน้องชายต้องเข้ามาช่วยปลดปล่อยให้พ้นภัย Escape From Planet Earth สามารถหนีขึ้นบันไดกลายเป็นอันดับ 3

หนังใหม่เรื่องเดียวที่เข้ามาช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ของ Oscar และติดกลุ่มตรงอันดับสองคือ Snitch ภาพยนต์แนวแอคชั่นซึ่งอ้างว่าได้แรงดลใจจากเรื่องจริง เกี่ยวกับพ่อผู้อาสาเป็นสายสืบให้กับอัยการเพื่อช่วยลดโทษของลูกชายผู้ถูกป้ายข้อหายาเสพติด

และ Identity Thief หนังแนวตลกเกี่ยวกับการออกตามหาอาชญากรสตรีผู้ขโมยข้อมูลระบุเอกลักษณ์ตัวตน สามารถย่องกลับเข้ามาขโมยอันดับหนึ่งไปครองได้ในช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ของการมอบรางวัล Oscar
