ในวันที่ 23 กันยายนนี้ คณะศิษย์เก่าพยาบาลศิริราชในนครนิวยอร์ค จะจัดงานวันมหิดลประจำปี 2555 โดยปีนี้ คุณวชิราภรณ์ อังสุนันท์ (Vachiraporn Ungsunan) เป็นประธานกรรมการจัดงาน

คุณวชิราภรณ์อธิบายว่า รายได้จากการจัดงาน ส่งไปสมทบทุนอาคารมหิดลอดุลยเดช-พระศรีนครินทร์และจัดซื้ออุปกรณ์การเรียนการสอน ปัจจุบันมียอดถึงสองล้านบาทแล้ว
