สหประชาชาติ ประกาศให้รางวัลคุณภาพการให้บริการประชาชนรางวัลที่ 2 ให้แก่โครงการป้องกันตาบอดจากโรคเบาหวาน ของโรงพยาบาลราชวิถี

เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 25 มิถุนายนนี้ สหประชาชาติ ได้ประกาศให้รางวัลคุณภาพการให้บริการประชาชนหรือ United Nations Public Service Award รางวัลที่สอง สาขาการเสริมสร้างการจัดการความรู้ในภาครัฐให้แก่โครงการป้องกันตาบอดจากโรคเบาหวาน ของโรงพยาบาลราชวิถี ซึ่งนำทีมโดยนายแพทย์ไพศาล ร่วมวิบูลย์สุข นายแพทย์เชี่ยวชาญด้านเวชกรรม สาขาจักษุวิทยา และผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการด้านศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศ

นายแพทย์ไพศาลอธิบายถึงวัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการป้องกันตาบอดจากโรคเบาหวานนี้ และระบุถึงแรงบันดาลใจในการดำเนินโครงการนี้ ตลอดจน เล่าถึงบรรยากาศในการรับรางวัลที่สหประชาชาติ
