นักวิจัยค้นพบพัฒนาการสมองของเด็กๆที่เติบโตในสภาพแวดล้อมที่ยากจนจะมีความรับรู้ด้านเสียงแตกต่างกับเด็กๆที่มีความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีกว่าและผลการศึกษาล่าสุดระบุว่าการฝึกฝนสมองของเด็กๆที่ยากไร้ด้วยเสียงดนตรี ช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านการเรียนรู้ของเด็กๆเหล่านั้นได้ดีขึ้นจากโครงการชื่อ Harmony Project
